| Travel n Shoot | 法國尼斯 Nice

The summer is coming, which make us think of the fantastic trip we had in south of France!

The trip stayed for five days, started from Paris to Lyon, then the 4 hours smooth car drive to Nice.

There has been plenty of bloggers telling you the most "shouldn't miss" places you should go, so what we are telling you, is somewhere you may not see in that "should do list".

Let's begin from the city where was our main stop to other cities

During the whole day in Nice, we woke up by the lovely sun and straight to the beach at 11am.

"Promenade des Anglais" is the coast side walking road which was built in the 18th century. Imagining cycling from Canne to Nice to Manaco, your right side is this stunning Mediterranean Sea, and your left are those red bricks houses... Is amazing.

Then we went to the Colline du Chateaux, at the first moment we didn't know what that is, just saw some people climbing the stairs beside the cliff. Who knows we are reaching the very top of Nice city...

Stairs after stairs, finally we saw something-A PARK! It is not a small park but quit like a little village. A café serving drinks to people, while children playing and running, elders doing the chess. We walked around the edge, looking down of the seaside and the city buildings. Not lots of tourists around, we feel like we are part of this city.

P.S. There is a waterfalls if you continue going to the very top!

Back to the old Nice (Vielle Nice), we passed by the market called "Marche du Fleur". Fresh vegetable, different kinds of olives, succession, fish or meat... which just opened our appetizer.

Our lunch was at the restaurant called "La Rossettisserie". The menu was simple, fresh salad for starter-chose one of your roasted meat, which can be beaf, lamp, pork, or chicken.
We never tried any roasted chicken better than this one! The chicken was cooked perfectly, still juicy and the meat was soft, also you can taste the provence herbs inside. The chef even put more chicken sauce on top of our half chicken! It was Served with the mashed potato with the red wine sauce. With the price 13.5€, it is totally worthy! We even couldn't finished our dish, so the waiter kindly did the doggy bag for us.

The trip continue......

Next time, we will talk about those little villages around Nice, which may not be written on the tourist guide book and only known by the local ^^
